In 1975 Derek Frost was employed by Mary Fox Linton, at that time Associates with David Hicks. The link is interesting, as Derek could be to the 80's what David Hicks was to the  60's. As a trio they all share a love of architectural space and a taste for simplicity, clean lines and colours, and good lighting.

Derek says "I am a contemporary traditionalist. I like the order, balance and symmetry of the 18th Century. I am interested in architectural details but like to use them in a modern fashion".

He is a purist.
